HashWatch is an iPhone app that monitors Bitcoin miners on the Parasite mining pool. We built it to work without collecting anything about you.
Nothing. HashWatch has no account system, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We don't run any server that receives your data.
The payout address you enter, your alert settings and recent hashrate history are stored only on your iPhone, shared between the app and its widget. Deleting the app deletes this data.
To show your statistics, the app sends your payout address directly from your device to the public Parasite pool API at parasite.space. That service receives the request, including your IP address, under its own terms and privacy practices. HashWatch is independent and not affiliated with Parasite Pool.
To show payouts and earnings, the app also sends your payout address directly from your device to the public mempool.space API, which looks up payments to that address on the Bitcoin blockchain. The app gets recent block times and the Bitcoin price from mempool.space too. mempool.space receives these requests, including your IP address, under its own terms and privacy practices. HashWatch is not affiliated with mempool.space.
If you add a Braiins OS miner, the app connects directly from your device to that miner over your home network or VPN, using the address and login you enter. The password is stored only in your iPhone's Keychain. None of this leaves your network or reaches us.
HashWatch Pro subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment information. The app reads Apple's record of your subscription on your device only to unlock Pro features. Manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings.
Alerts are generated on your device by iOS local notifications. No push notification service or third party is involved.
HashWatch is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
